Profile views not always showing?

So it's happened a few times... people winking me but yet it doesn't show me who had viewed my profile.

Is there a way to hide who you have viewed or is it a bug in the site?

Yes there is a privacy setting to not show on 'who looked at me' lists.

A lot of women use it (me included) so we don't get messages from every man we look at.
