A friend returned to the site and last night asked if I would verify her. Given that we'd met previously for coffee, I verified her as 'met in person'.

This morning I've had a message from admin stating that my verification tick has been removed as I gave a fake verification, which obviously isn't true.

Apparently if it happens again I'll be banned from the site. Do I need to photograph and upload the Starbucks receipt in future?

You could try messaging admin to appeal it and tell them the circumstances. Doubt it will help but worth a try.

Admin normally only take action if they can verify the rule break, however if you think a mistake has been made you can ask them review from the contact link
