noticed that our updates clear after about an hour except meets, any idea why?

If they're abusive or naming and shaming then admin can remove them. Apart from that, no idea! Think they automatically disappear after a day or two.

An hour seems a bit quick, they normally clear after about two days.

Are you sure someone isn't clearing it after you post it even by accident?
