Filters broken?

Hello,

Are filters on the blink?

My filters are set to 34-48 and no shadows (plus pretty much all the other filters)

Yet I’m getting loads of people outside that age range and people with no public photos/or profile pic.

The no public pictures is easy to work round. They just make one public, send the message then put the pic back to private again.

Not sure about the age issue though.

Check the age looking for in search that you have ticked the box as it prevents anyone else that doesn't fit your age preference

It is set correctly. I’ve checked my message filter settings multiple times. I’ve also checked my looking for. I’ve even had a friend look at my settings for me.

It’s weird and annoying

Same here my age filter is 35-55 yet I'm getting 19,20s 30s(less than 35) and over 55s messaging. I've checked,checked and rechecked.. nothing works..its been like this for ages now x

I ask this in case people are assuming their preferences stop any mails from people who don't match age etc. It won't stop those people messaging you unless you set your filters from the above link

Yes I am. Only people aged between 34-38 can message so say my filters. Yet I’m getting messages from 29 and 31 year olds

Age: Anyone not 34-48 is blocked

Your preference is for ages 34-48 and only people between those ages can mail you. Allow any ages to mail

Nope. Never even heard of these people and they are way outside of any age range I look at.

I have just asked a Mod to check to see if they could mail you both and to Newcat, they couldn't get through your filters so yours seem to be working as they should.

If you get anyone outside of your filters that you have never mailed or winked before, if you send Admin the name of the people they will probably check to see if the filters are working as they should

To Maximus74, a Mod tried to mail you who is outside your filters and they could have done so you don't seem to have set your filters, you can do this from the link above and it should work for you
