I keep getting messages from people older than the age that my filter is set at. I keep checking the filters and they are active. Why might this be?

I just tried the message button on your profile and it doesn't allow me to due to my age so it's working for me at least

Have you actually checked the box in the settings to prevent people outside your age range from messaging you.

It's not just a question of setting a minimum and maximum age.

For example, I have a min and max age set on my profile, but people outside of that range may still contact me.
