Changing photos from friends to public

Manchester-ish

If we were to upload a photo to friends only and then after some time, say a week, change it to public... would it pop up in local updates? I'm hoping it wouldn't but would like to know either way.

No, not necessarily. It depends on how much time has elapsed between you uploading it and making it public - as the clock starts ticking when you upload it to fab, not when it's gets approved or when you make it public.

given amount of photos are uploaded minute by minute might even be sooner than 30 minutes as yours would've been thrown over the edge
