Is there a way to see members forum posts from their profile? We know you can see other forum posts that they have made by clicking the green arrow on their posting but if you dont know if they have posted how can you find their past posts?

The reason we've never done this before/yet is that forums are a minority interest.

106,000 people logged into the site yesterday and sent over 750,000 private messages.

Only 915 of the 106,000 made posts to the forums

Maybe the green arrow on a profile will attract new users to the forums, lots of people don't realise they can use them or that the forums are part of the site.

Also lots of people don't post in forums but do read them, so your statistics wouldn't account for those.

Yes,understand your stats (impressive numbers!)but often the posts give extra info on attitudes/likes/dislikes that are not on the members profile. We have no idea about the coplexities of web design and function so our apologies for not knowing what is actually involved but would be a great little addition to enhance everyones profile?

Thanks for taking the time to reply.Keep up the good work.

Are you able to tell how many of them read forum posts, without posting?

Not easily.

But can see that forum pageviews are around 1.2% of total site pageviews.

Agree...we have had some great meets and socials that we have found in the various sections of the forum.Excellent wat to keep up to date on whats happening/socials/holiday ideas etc.Still be good to be able to see others posts direct from profile page.

Fantastic idea, you can tell a lot more what people are like by what they say in the forum than on profiles.its instant so no time to think up a contrived answer.
