When trying to message a lady recently it comes up .. person has blocked everyone of your sex ... yet other males have met and have recently talked to her .. its happened also when I tried to message someone else ..

Can you explain please

The profile(s) in question perhaps initiated conversations or had different filter settings in the past.

As above, she probably has single men blocked and chooses to contact the ones she would like to talk to.

The block onky relates to incoming mail.

They can still choose to contact men and any men they have had contact with prior to adding a filter blocking them can also still contact them.

It cuts down on the volume of attention women and couples get and means they choose who to engage with.

There are a number of possibilities here.

She may not have had men blocked when these people messaged her, and if she'd replied to any of them, any filters she applies subsequently won't apply to those people she has been messaging.

Or, as has been suggested above, these may be men that she herself has initiated contact, in which case the same applies. Effectively, she has given them an exemption from her filters.

She has blocked males from messaging. As others have said she may have chosen certain males to message herself and then they can reply to her or she may change her filters from time to time to allow men to message.

But putting it simply, at the moment you can't message her!
