Profile disappeared

What happens when you message someone and then their profile disappears. Usually if the block you it says you can't look at the person's profile but this one just disappeared

They’ve deleted their account. When someone leaves the site, all traces of the account disappear and forum posts show as user no longer on site instead of their profile name.

I had exactly that experience last week. All gone.
