Finding someone you blocked

I'm looking on my block list but I can't find the person I blocked. I know I did, and have blocked many since. It simply gets to the end of the list and stops. Obviously I've blocked so many it can't show them all, so how do I unblock a person on my list that I can't see?

I've never done it, but surely if you remember their username you can search for it and unblock them that way?

Nope, just tried it and it doesn't work. Sorry, should have tried before I posted haha

But im sure you blocked them for a good reason, maybe best they stay that way.

If you go into desk top and put their name into the search bar in your block list, does it show up there?

If you have blocked them their user name won't show if you search

Yes I know I can't search for them as they won't show, but when i scroll through my block list they should be on there. As an experiment, I just unblocked 5 people, and sure enough, 5 new people appeared at the bottom of the block list, so it appears so you can only see so many people you've blocked, so let's say I blocked 300, you can only see the first 200 and won't see any of the remaining 100 unless you remove blocks from within the 200. If that makes sense.

Because I felt I was a bit harsh blocking them and wanted to unblock them to apologise.

I've sorted it now, I just unblocked a load of people until they reappeared back on my list. Now I just have to hope the people I unblocked don't message

I made a thread & queried this several days ago. I found that I was also not able to see my entire block list, leading me to believe that there was some kind of limit on the amount of blocks that can be used, as I have discovered is the case on alternate dating apps.

It turns out that in fact all your blocks are still in the list, it's just that you can only see a certain amount of them, and unless you can remember the name of the person you blocked 10 months ago so you can search them, the only way to see the blocks that aren't displayed is to unblock many profiles in the visible list, until the one you're looking for becomes visible again. The list seems to work kind of like a stack.

Honestly I think the site developers need to add functionality to view your entire block list like how you can do for your photo gallery in "manage photos" if you have more than 50.

Yes i found this out. I had to unblock about 50 people to find the one ik was looking for. I now have 50 people who ill end up blocking again but will have to endure the whole reason I blocked them for again

if you have blocked someone and have tried to but fsiled to find them on your list maybe they have left the site ? i always thought it would have been a good idea if the names on a block list were put in alphabetical order make it easier to find,,,

It would be great if on the drop down menu the option to unblock regardless of list was available to block and unblock giving both options would make life that little bit easier
