Failed password attempts

If the wrong password is entered too many times will my account be locked or blocked?

I'm asking because I am concerned about what happens when someone knows my user name and tries to "hack" my account.

Thanks you for replying and good question.

Why do people do lots of the things they do?

A fab friend has lost their phone or it has been burgled and, possibly coincidentally, their Fab profile has disappeared or been deleted and they didn't delete it.

I'm trying to work out how that might happen.

I don't know if an account gets blocked if there are too many failed attempts to log in. If an account disappears completely it's because the account holder (or person with access to the username and password) has deleted it. Therefore your friend either deleted it themselves or someone knew or guessed their password.
