Disappearing messages

Can anyone help / advise?

I arranged to meet a couple this coming week and now all the messages we have exchanged, including those I sent to them, have disappeared.

I can't find their profile nor are they on my friends list anymore.

Is there a reason this could happen? Or should I just be reading between the lines lol!

Sounds like they have deleted their profile.

When they leave all record of them go to messages etc
