chat room screen freeze

have a new comp so all nice and shiny etc., but when in wales chat my screen freezes on chat i cant see anyone typing after half a screens worth only mine so i come out go back in and then i see what pplk have typed in room, can anyone please advise me what to do

admin do you have any advice pls have checked with internet supplier etc., nowt wrong their end
