Dis-appearing verifications

Just been advised by friends that their verification of me has vanished, been on for about 8 months. I definitely haven't removed it.

Any suggestions?

I am told if the verifyer blocks you the veri is removed by admin.

dont know why otherwise

It isn't removed, but it doesn't show on your profile anymore.

Just to clarify, they verified you and, now, when they look at your profile, they can't see the verification that they left?

Have you had a look at your profile @ http://www.fabswingers.com/profile/2for_fun? Can you see it?

If not, go into your account settings and Manage Verifications, and check that their veri is there and has "Remove from your profile" below it. If it has "Display on your profile" below it, then click that. If it is there and has "Remove from your profile", it might be worthwhile clicking that and then finding it again and clicking "Display on your profile".

I wonder if Admin would consider renaming "Remove from your profile" to "Don't display on your profile"?

Does anyone know what happens if you accidentally block, and then unblock someone? Would the verification be restored after the unblock, or is it gone forever?

Once you unblock the veri's are restored

I'm confused now!

Are you the one who Verified them? Or them you? If you verified them, then they get to choose whether to display it or not. If they verified you, then you get to choose!

It's quite simple a veri they got has disappeared so they can't even manage it. Happened to me too x

This happened to me not that long ago. Logged on as normal, went to post on forums and got the message syaing you cant post if you arent verified etc

So looked at my veris and they had gone. No idea what happened but was very annoying.

Good point on renaming that button.

Re: block/unblock if unblocked the verification(s) will show again, the FAQ has a snippet on this
