I no wondered if someone could advise on a location issue?

Not sure if it’s for all, but I’m getting quite a lot of interest from Cyprus?

I did receive a message from someone in Cyprus, who wasn’t very happy when I explained I’m in the uk. Another couple told me that I was being shown as less than a mile from them in Paphos, anyone else had similar?

No idea however I feel your pain. I was down south (UK) a few years ago and my location showed as Hong Kong!

When I explain to them, or try to, they tend to block me, I’m sure the think I’m doing it on purpose, or with malice!

If accessing through a laptop then location will be roughly detected by IP address. Therefore, are you using a VPN that randomly hooks onto proxy servers? Best way to check is google "my ip" and see where it resolves to. It might even be your ISP doing something strange.

If accessing through a mobile device then normally these are a little more accurate as it uses GPS combined with cell tower strength to get a precise location. If you however have a "dodgy app" on your phone then that might be playing games with the GPS!

Just back from Cyprus and I found the location info accurate. OP, you seem to be showing as in the UK ATM. When not online, ypur postcode will be used, so I can only vouch for the current time, when you're not online.
