So, I know if you send a message and get no reply, a message pops up telling you.

But do you still get that message after you sent 3 or more

Having not been so persistent I don't know from experience, but I doubt that there is a count of the number of times a message is sent to the same person without reply

Even if you did I doubt that it would make a difference

People can be very persistent.

Sometimes hitting that block button is the only answer.
