FabSwingers.com forum: Wierd effects on IE8

I've had one Hell of a problem with Fabs and IE8 today ....

This morning I went to click onto the forums and it loaded very very slowly indeed. Eventually it timed out so I closed down IE, re-opened it and up Fabs popped, but with a difference ....

The blue tab bar across the top covered one and a half lines, the text was twice the size and the fonts had changed to Timed New Roman - or something very similar. I logged in on the laptop and all was well, so it obviously wasn't the site to blame, so I checked a few things, obvious things like the font size etc etc in IE - all to no avail, I frigged about with it for half of the day and couldn't get it to work, everything else on IE was fine, only the Fabs page was effected

So almost to the point of uninstaling IE and starting again, I logged in one more time and it was back to normal - no rhyme nor reason for it - it just fixed itself after driving me nuts for most of the day.

Yes I know about Firefox, Chrome etc, but so far I'm happy with IE8 but have no idea what had caused this glitch.

Anyone had anything similar ?
