Red squiggly line spell check ?

Using chrome and checked the setting's all seems in order. Whilst typing in this message field box any errors are usually flagged with a red squiggly underline.

Now i don't believe for one minute my spelling has improved but i do like to make an effort, anyone assist ?

Click the spanner - settings - show advanced - Under Languages - click spell-checker settings - English and NOT English (United states) - put a tick in the "Enable spell checking box - OK

If you spell a word incorrectly you get the red underline - right click the word and select the correct spelling

The spanner is located on the top right of the screen it will allow you to go into the settings

The spanner icon has been replaced by 3 horizontal bars (a menu?) in recent versions.
