I've recently been posting in the forum about a social event I'm going to in Birmingham next month.

The organisers have their own event profile, but they've been holding off posting about the event as their regular profile had previously received a forum ban and they don't want to be seen as trying to skirt that.

Would it be OK for them to post and respond about the event from their event profile, as currently people are starting to ask me questions to which I don't know the answers?

In a word, no, if they have a ban they can't use another account to get round it

They just thought it best to double check as they didn't want to cause any trouble.
