I only look for secure sites when I am using my debit card details to purchase something. Is that needed here?

If you pay for site supporter status from the site it transfers you to a secure website (I checked) but til then you don't need one. Just log on in an In Private window if you're worried about other people finding out your habits.

dont worry, i was just asking as a option for extra safty or maybe a future website upgrade

if they have the option it isnt used as default and you dont HAVE TO have it

note: most sites never used it

yep, i just wanted to see if the website could be secure whilst browsing
