I've been on here for a while, not been that active but have met people here and from other sites. My occasional FB (who lives about 300 miles away and who I get to see 2-3 times a year) wants to join as a couple with me as she feels nervous joining on her own.

To get photo verification it states we need a photo of us together holding a sign with our user name - not easy when I dont know when I am next going to see her face to face.

Can we do individual photos holding the same sign (hand written and scanned so it is clearly the same writing) or is the only way to wait until we next meet?

Any advice would be great, thanks

I'm sorry but why join as a couple when you know you aren't going to be able to meet anyone as a couple.

This has been asked before and I believe the answer was no it has to be a picture of you both together.

Also as above not much point in a couples profile if you are not meeting as a couple.

As above...if you are not going to be meeting as a couple ( which sounds impossible from what you describe) there is no point in a couple profile.

She needs to make a single profile herself.

That is the whole point of the photo verification process for couples, for both to be together in photo....

What you want is a fake couple profile, so she or you can pretend to be a couple .

Not saying we will never meet as a couple on here, it could be the next time I am there we can get someone else to join us but without photo verification it's not going to happen.

Totally understand about fake profiles, been on here long enough to understand why verification is needed so will just have to wait until we next meet before registering.

It should be mandatory for everyone to photo verify. Would cut a lot of the time wasters and tourists out.
