Not that this helps much, but I only use my iPad for this site and it works fine. I can’t recall if this function is only available to site supporters? I assume you are one.

Have you checked the location settings, if switched on. also if you are able to do a search so the device is able to pin point where it is.

You have to have your Google locations turned on so you can see who's nearby if not it tells you how to turn them on through settings
