"1 unread message"???

For the last couple of weeks now we have "1 unread message" indicated but there isn't one. Have been on Fab for 10 years now and not seen this before. Has anyone any ideas about how to remove this?

Are you using the new version mailbox?

Swap back to the old style and you should be able to find the message there, you may have to delete some of the newer mail for it to appear on the page.
