Updating room list on mobile chat

I've noticed lately over the last couple of months that the room list doesn't update when people enter/leave.it always used to.this is very frustrating and annoying as you have to keep refreshing the page and then miss the chat in the room.i would be grateful for any help on this...many thanks..
