couple, us we him her.

I think we should be able to delete a thread if we start it.

And if we reply have the option to delete anytime rather than just the first few minutes.

It's quite an antiquated system tbh.

Use the report function and request that you'd like to remove, I'm sure admin would be happy to assist, leaving more room on the server

Totally agree.

If you start a thread, you should be able to control it.

Same here, we should have the option to edit or delete at least for the first 5 minutes or so to correct misleading typos etc !. The same could be said of club reviews too, just submitted one and didn't realise it defaults to just 'ok'.

But then there'd be a spate of deletions should responses perhaps not be what the OP wanted/expected.

You can't control the opinions and views of others when asking a question or making a statement.

Open forums are just that - open. People can respond how they want (within the rules of course). Starting a thread doesn't create ownership. Any site member can contribute if they choose.

Surely, if you feel strongly about a thread topic you can create your own if the original OP deletes, keep yours up for as long as you want, your thread, your choice.

We have put up a thread and within 3 replies found what we want.

I'd then like to delete it before the fruitloops start to contaminate and go off piste.
