If you block someone, after you've verified them, does the verification come off their profile?

The actual veri won’t show on their profile, but it’ll still show in the verification summary, the number won’t reduce.

I’ve had to block a few men after verifying them - mostly ones who I verified after a social (at their request) but subsequent events showed that they were people I didn’t want to be associated with; and/or didn’t want other women to think they were safe people to meet because of my veri. I’d much rather be able to remove the veri, but blocking is the only way to do it.
