Why do I have a message that I cannot display verifications at the moment -

"We've temporarily removed publication button during Covid, don't worry it will return"

- but I see profiles displaying new verifications all the time in my updates?

They are most probably webcam verifications. We can't show meet verifications at the moment because of all the restrictions

But they’re clearly meet veris disguised as webcam veris. You can clearly tell from the wordings how many people are getting around the systems in place.

Yes which is clearly wrong and that is no doubt what the poster is seeing on the updates.

Yes you are, as long as it is a webcam veri, they are the only ones that can be displayed. So some people who are having physical meets, as in playing meets are doing webcam veries, to get around the rules

Someone I had a meet with in Nov 2019 reappeared on the site and gave me a belated verification. It's clear from what he wrote that the meet was a while ago, but nobody can read that bit! Instead it looks like I was having meets during Lockdown

I really wasn't!
