Question - my verifications are all hidden, but some people's are not. Why is that then?

Literally all of mine are hidden I mean, by the site.

You must of had them hidden before lockdown 1.. any new ones stay hidden only cam veris are shown!! You can display your summary though

When admin changed the system, if your veris were hidden they froze as hidden.

If your veris were visible they stayed visible.

Admin will release the verification controls when they feel it's appropriate

I see. Well I don't remember whether they were or weren't hidden, so I guess we'll go with the former. Thanks for clarifying

When they decided to stop meet veris from being published it was a case of turning the option off for all meet veris, so ones that were already on show stayed, ones that were hidden will have to stay hidden until they turn publishing back on. Cam veris can still be shown no matter when you got them.

But if the verification is before covid kicked in, then why can't admin allow these to be changed from hidden to public, is it that difficult for you to change these settings, hopefully admin will respond to this, as so far there hasn't been any response because me and other users have brought this issue up in the past and nothing said

Historically, admin have ignored pretty much every request I've ever seen on here. The biggest ongoing gripe has been the location issue surrounding the East Midlands - which on here stretches from Essex to Yorkshire and includes the Midlands. East Anglia doesn't get a look in but it's never been changed. Those areas are not the East Midlands.

The site is super simple - and this is the reason (along with it being too cheap/free) that it works for the site owners. Their overheads must be super low because the site has barely ever had anything updated on it and never gets any development - just look at the layout, a child could have made this site. They concentrate on photos & videos and all that rubbish because that's what keeps people coming back. The site is essentially social media nowadays, and the site owners have no reason to update anything for people like us (users). If they lose me or you as a user, so what?

The site is so cheap it doesn't matter - it's another factor in why they don't take on board anything site users offer by way of feedback and how the site works.
