When people hide verifications,we think it would be a good idea to show what they are hiding. Phone verifications mean nothing,and web mean nothing other than they have been on cam.Alot of timewasters are using this,to fool genuine swingers.

I see your point - but to show something that has been hidden? surely that is a contradiction cos if you can see it - it isn't hidden!

Ah the old timewaster debate again!

As has been stated many times on loads of threads about so called timewasters one persons timewaster is another persons change of mind, etc, etc, etc!

Showing a verification status or the verification itself will do nothing, in my humble opinion, to stop meet cancellations, etc as vanilla life can sometimes stop a meet happening for many varied reasons!

No matter what the site does, if the people really are a "genuine timewaster", they will always waste other peoples time as thats how they get their "kicks"

Again just my humble opinion into a long running debate that will never end!

a 'meet in person' verification means nothing either if you dont know who it's from?

for example, a verified single male can set himself up a couple profile and verify it by meeting in person, then hide the verification (hiding the fact it was him who wrote it!)

The verification system can be manipulated whatever the situation.

think ive been lucky not had timewasters cos i meet at socials first that way you get to know who is up for a meet, well anyway i just been lucky i guess. sometimes though maybe they not all genuine timewasters, maybe they are all up for it, but when it comes to nitty gritty they get scared, who knows

We,ve noticed alot of people have maybe 5/6 phone verifications,is this a free sex chat line?Forgive us,but is camming not just free porn.This is supposed to a swingers site,for people to actually meet.

Having read your profile I can see that the first paragraph says;

'Early phone chat,to get rid of timewasters.If you can,t speak on the phone,then don,t contact us'

So maybe the phone verifications you have seen are from people who do the same as you do and ask to chat on the phone and hence the 'phone verification'

The other person giving the verification may feel the other people they have spoken to are therefore a genuine couple and will maybe meet in the future!

Again just my tuppence worth

A possible solution would be on the profile something like this:

'Verified Genuine (5 in person, 2 on phone, 2 on webcam)'

then they can hide/display whatever feedback they wish

If it says only one phone or webcam verify then you can move to a diff profile

Sometimes a person or couple willing to verify you may not wish their own identity to be posted up on your profile, (just as 'friends' are likewise often hidden). If the verifier asks not to be identified, (so the comments not to be shown), it's only courtesy not to show them, - although their comments are wasted.

I love this thread,it just goes to show how peoples opinions about certain aspects of the site ie verifications can change like the wind when it suits them

Unless of course they're not genuine and are trying to fool people into thinking they are

I think I know why....someone on another forum thread pointed out that their last verification was over a year ago and suddenly...their verifications vanish into thin air!

I think that each person should have a positive and negative flag with numbers on it simular to ebai!! when arranging to meet, this site should have a page where when one person arranges to meet the other they both have 48 hours in which to complete a feedback so all can see if it was positive or negative by number 1/5 for either red - equals a shitty meet and + 5 obviously an excellent time all round.

Makes sense on ebai doesn't it !!!

Not at all but point taken Risky..I just seem to have come across a few hypocritical posts by these guys all of a sudden and I think they have rubbed quite a few people up the wrong way with their comments. I should probably go outside for some fresh air! Lol!

Are you being serious?

You really want anyone who wants to meet others from here to post it on an open page for all to see? Does Admin have to approve that meet before it can take place? And how is Admin meant to know when meets are planned and the people concerned haven't filled out the correct concent page?

It is no one elses business who meets who on this site or any site for that matter.

What if someone goes over your 48 hour limit for giving the feedback, what's your proposal for the punishment?

Ebay is a site for buying & selling goods and no one is forced to provide any feedback if they don't want to on it. Fab is a site that is meant to be fun for all and not a who is better than who site!

This has got to be one of the silliest suggestions I have heard on here!!!
