I always thought that only people within my age parameters could message me.

I have been receiving a few messages from people under 30. I am pretty sure I have never messaged them. Can anyone explain why?

Have you got the "only them between such age" bit ticked?

Also previous winks can override the filter

I just checked again and no tick box, only a minimum and maximum age which I have filled out.

Maybe it is the previous winks thing.

It sounds like you haven’t set your age filter - go to “Account” and “Message filters” and you can check if it’s on or off and set any filters you like from there.

It sounds like you haven’t set your age filter - go to “Account” and “Message filters” and you can check if it’s on or off and set any filters you like from there."

I did have my message filters set and have now tightened some more.
