So i keep getting friend requests but what does it actually do, like what’s the point of it?

No one can see my private pix right?

My Own Little World

You have 3 categories of pics

Public, anyone can see.

Friend only, as the name suggests only your friends can see them.

And private, only you unless you decide to add 1 to a message and send to someone.

If you accept a friend request you can see each others friend only pics and their updates will appear on your Home page, and if you want to find them quickly they are all listed in your Friends List.
