I understand it costs £5 to join if you call the number from a BT landline, but it says it costs more from a mobile. Anyone know how much it costs to call from a mobile please?

That would depend on how much your provider charges, it is normally a lot more than a landline though.

The text option is better for a mobile

Curiouser and curiouser it seems the whole text process is dead? The number to text is anyway. Debit card/PayPal charging £15. Reckon if the number works it’s gotta be £15. Don’t get it, change the price that’s listed, not a good look charging 3 x the advertised price really, is it?

Its £5 via text, the number works just fine. £5 via bt landline or £12.50 via card. Like it says on the upgrade page.

You can't pay £5 by card, you can pay by text or landline and it will charge you £5
