Odd one last night. I've recently turned off my 'verified only' message filters, and had someone with the 'new user' icon showing and no verifications messaging me last night (or early hours of this morning.)

Suddenly, they'd vanished without trace. Including all sent and received messages. I checked my browser history and found the message links, but each time I open them, I get "User you're trying to message does not exist."

I've seen people leave and get banned before. In those cases, the messages remained and I got the usual "(User no longer on site)" as the 'from.'

But not in this case. The messages have disappeared along with the user.

Any ideas why? Could it just be something I haven't seen before because I usually have filters set?

User no longer on site as in they have deleted their account and gone but in most cases they will return.

It’s sort of like cum and go!!!!!!!

I had this. Messaging a couple and all sent and received messages vanished even though they’re still on the site as well. Weird.

What about when both parties are still on the site? Messages vanished, weird.
