Deleting Verifications?

Can anyone advise how I can delete a verification I have previously received and accepted but with subsequent regret (as, on second thoughts, I don't like the wording).

Is there a way of doing this without having to block list the person who sent the verification?

Just go into manage verifacations and hide it instead of displaying.

Simples.
