It’d be a huge list if I really got going.

But proper famous is pre internet, say 1995, movie or tv star. Certain sports people too.

‘American famous’ is not famous like their bizarre sports things.

You’re not a ‘star’ if you’ve been on The Chase or whatever passes as a quiz game show on ITV these days.

You’re not a ‘star’ if you’re on gogglebox where you’re filmed reacting to other TV shows.

Politicians are not ‘stars’.

Etc etc..
