Is the meat bit 'ham'? Cos I've gone through the alphabet from Birmingham to Wokingham (which isn't even a city!). Am I on the right lines?

My ex and I used to write a pub quiz. I'd always have to rewrite his questions to make them at least guessable. Just cos the answer was obvious to him didn't mean it was obvious to everyone!

We also did a 50:50 round. My personal favourites were Sailors knot or Fetish knot and Karma Sutra or Karate

For the latter we had bar staff volunteer to demonstrate the positions! Clothed, obviously! Fun times!

I'm really stuck! I even googled synonyms for craving

But I learnt a new word!

Cacoethes - the urge to do something inadvisable.

Impressive word you found Pip.

"The second person last"

Could that be the letter "e" second letter in person going at the end of the word ?

If you looked for synonyms of crave, i'm pretty sure the third syllable of the word would be there. You are on the right lines.

Maybe the 'scratching' is on your 'loin' or your 'belly' or your 'ribs'

The second person is not 'me' - it's ........

I really do 'yearn for' a scratching.

Okay. Animal one word. Three syllables. I have given you two words that when found will make the three syllables apparent.

Clues for word one, the arena , the field.

A hippo, a chocolate bar, or t.v. traveller would use this word to an end.

Clue for word two....... What do we do to mammals ? Moreover WHERE do we do it?
