Boat burnt out in the Marina

It was interesting to see on one of the travel agents web site that a boat went on fire in the Marina and was burnt out. Hopefully the owner had the correct insurance policy in place with everything correctly disclosed when the policy was taken out. The photos and videos of the boat burning out are from one of the local newspapers.

Also on the same site detailed photos of the amendements being made to the various car parks at Port Nature .

Reading the news reports insurance is the least of the owners worries at the moment. He's in hospital with severe burns to his hands and face. Two children also received burns but less serious. Clearly a most unfortunate accident.

Very sad news. The fire was filmed and available for viewing on a social media site . The blaze was very strong. I assumed incorrectly that there were no occupants on the boat. Looking at the strength of the flames it is fortunate that no one was killed. Hopefully the occupants will make a speedy recovery.

Very sad . It was a mechanic who was burnt on both the face and hands . I do not think I am allowed to post links on here . I will try and pm a link to those interested later .

If you stand outside the Pilouterie and look at the toilets it appears to be about the fifth or sixth boat in . There are about thirty comments on the social media site . One of them is as below
