Bergerac, France

Probably need a bit more detail.

Do you mean touring vans or static? With a pitch at Oltra or without?

Do you need to tow it or is it just for holidays at Cap, in which case you don't need to worry where it is registered..

If it's a touring caravan your looking for its going to be difficult. Caravans in France are treated the same as cars in the UK - they have "log books" or "V5". If your buying a used French van the former owner registers the sale on the French "ANTS" website so that they are no longer responsible for it. You will not be allowed to register it unless you have a French social security number and are a permanent resident here. If you but an English caravan and after brexit you may have problems storing in France. The prefecture/DREAL in Montpelier is apparently in the process of notifying storage companies (Gardienage) that English caravans do not have cover on French roads unless they are being towed by English cars. Also they are clamping down on UK cars that have been more than 6 months. A good website for info is a facebook site called RHDFRANCE. I would suggest you look at a mobile home. You can insure it with French a insurance company using the campsite address. After brexit English insurance companies may not have "passporting" rights which would make a problem in the event of a claim.

We took a caravan over 6years ago it's still there kept in storage and can be delivered to your pitch on site.

We used to fly back and fore .

We did sell it to a couple from Kent it was dry and very comfortable inside ,been told it's now up for sale.
