Yes, we travelled this route last year, not a great ferry but beats driving from Calais lol

Agree ! The best is Portsmouth to Caen but they are really expensive during summer ! I take it on foot during the summer otherwise I can't afford to cross with the car

There are some special offers on the Brittany Ferries web page if booked in advance and you can get an extra 10% off if you know anybody with a BF clubcard number .hope it helps

The card "club voyage" give you 30% off and free cab during the day. If you cross 2 or 3 time you already have your money back you can also give 10% off for friend (i think you have a maximum limit for friends)

We are travelling Sunday 26 August 14.35hrs Portsmouth/Caen with a large car and large caravan. Coming back 16 September on 08.30hrs.

Return fare was £253 IIRC with 4 free Caravan club site vouchers. So it nets to approx £193 return!!

Cracking deal and we avoid the hell hole that is Dover. Anyone one here on these sailings?

Near Bergerac

If you're over 60 you will get a 20% discount on all crossings.

You need to book by phone, not via the internet.

Every little helps...!!
