"2 euros 60 cents on the very good bus service. the bus is timed to meet the flights. we have used it 14 times and never failed us. " Sounds good! We’ve never been before so unsure of how it all works? Does bus drop you at the entrance? Then you buy your pass into the village and walk? Does a taxi take you all the way to your acomodation ?

"We normally get picked up at airport by agent but it's 45eur each way The bus seems a better proposition if it's as reliable as posted " We've never used the bus from the airport but the service from the village into Agde town is excellent and only 1 euro each way.

"While the bus is the cheapest transfer option it is not 100 % reliable .In addition if you arrive late at night you will have missed the No 4 connecting bus from Agde, so will have to get a taxi from Agde station in any event . You will need to get the first bus from the airport to Agde station and then another from Agde to village naturiste ( No 4 ) . The initial aiport transfer bus is part of a much longer route and you have no means of tracking it unlike buses in the UK . ( and as such will be unable to check if it is delayed or cancelled ). On Saturdays traffic in the peak seaon can be chaotic and the number 4 can be so packed it is unable to stop to pick up passengers at certain stops because it is simply packed to capacity . This should not affect your transfer but be prepared to be packed in the bus like sardines . If you do not intend leaving the village a taxi may pay for itself because the driver will simply scan his card and drive through the gate ( in this case you avoid having to pay for two gate passes but it does mean that you cannot leave the village as you would be unable to re enter without paying ( unless you are returning in a vehicle ) " pat, firm or whatever other name you have for somone who lists his hobbies as transport you don't half diss busses. first of all there are few flights that land late and people can work it out if they will get a bus its easy to look up and download the timetable .The number 4 bus can get full but we have always had a seat because you are FIRST on the bus.so why would you care if it couldn't pick up other people with your arse firmly on a seat? when you make a booking with oltra or other companys you have the option of being sent your gate pass by post with your booking..btw everyone should get one they do not want people avoiding paying as it helps pay towards security to benefit all! an aeroplane is much like a bus so why would people be against busses if you want to be "packed like sardines" you just were on the plane!derrrrr. I repeat we catch the bus to and from the airport and it has never failed. Having a gate pass also lets you catch a bus to Agde or supermarkets when you can buy things at half the price of inside the village and have a day out to see something different.I doubt very much that you catch busses even though its an interest of yours.hmmmm very strange

"Hadn't really thought about getting a gate pass in order to nip into agde for provisions Did you say the journey was an hour round trip ? Wud the cost of a gate pass make the journey worthwhile when offset against the price difference of goods on the resort as opposed to out of it Cheers in advance " Unless you are purchasing a lot of groceries the cost savings would hardly justify buying a pass just for that purpose. The shops in the village are more expensive but not by a massive amount . The advantage of shopping outside the village would be that there is greater choice .

"How much are these passes? This will be our first time there and read with interest about a taxi stopping at a supermarket on route to our apartment which sounds like it could be a good idea... any info around this will be helpful. Do we technically need to exit the village to get to the Beaches or are they outside...? X" Can't give much help on the taxi's as we always drive down to Cap and have never used one. The passes are quite expensive for people who are staying outside the village but cheap if you are staying inside. I can't remember exactly but last year we paid around 20€ for 2 weeks. When you arrive at the office make sure you have a copy of your rental contract with you. If you arrive by taxi and he takes you straight through without getting a pass then you won't be able to leave the village. However beach, bars, restaurants, clubs, and supermarkets (albeit small and expensive) are inside.

Last year a short stay was 12€ for those staying in the resort - slightly higher if staying outside.

If that would be Hyper U on a Saturday or Sunday then it could be very expensive if he leaves the meter running. In the season that place is chaos.

"is it possible to get pass in advance? we arrive on a saturday and the Q tends to be long" When we book the Campsite there is an option to get the passes paid for and posted to you. We think it's worth it.
