We've booked twice for next year already. We used booking.com staying in port nature but you can also look for port ambonne and port soleil..there's also Heliopolis but that looks a bit run down to us..good luck and have fun

Hi .You first decision will be do you want to book accommodation inside or outside the village . As a broad generalisation accommodation outside the village will be up to half the price of that inside the village . However you lose the convenience and may have a walk of at lea

st 30 minutes to get anywhere .

You can either book through an agent or one of the booking sites .

A couple of pointers aimed at first timers visiting Cap d Agde.

1. Flying - nearest airport is Beziers (BZR) - Ryanair.

2. The village naturiste - everybody has to get a pass. Owners get 2 "free" but considering they have bought an apartment costing from 150,000€ and paying annual charges is it free? The rest pay according to how long your staying. The pass should be with you at all times - if stopped by security you will be asked for it or the number on it so they can check records.

3. Accommodation on offer - camping, chalets (big garden sheds), mobile homes are on the Oltra campsite. Apartments come in various sizes from about 14sm (studio) to 45sm ( rare but available ). If you imagine a rectangle 2.5-3m wide and the long side will vary. Get a tape measure in your lounge and get some idea. Apartments facilities and furnishings very dramatically. In peak when it's 35c we think aircon is a must about 25% have it. If driving a parking space is really useful.

4. Other points. You only hire the apartment the French bring their own bedding towels etc - though they can be hired. A booking fee is charged by most agents as is a cleaning fee, tourist tax per person per night 1.65€ last season. Parking or garage charges may apply.

5. Here rentals tend to be Sat to Sat a minimum of 7 night's in peak.

That's about it - not definitive but a start.

Ref point 4 above. We booked through AGN last year and it included all linen and towels, and we could change them as often as we liked.
