We're in Carcassonne 20-25 sept... any fabbers live there or any advice on the scene is welcome.

Noticed we're not far from Cap Dage is it worth the trip for the day ? X

Being that close to the Cap, you just have to go. It will shock, thrill and amaze you in equal measure.

Carcasonne is a good hours drive from the Cap by motorway. Although the resort is still open the season effectively finishes on 15th September. What is left will be a ghost of what most people experience. I think you will be disappointed and unless you stay over you will miss any action going on which tends to happen late evening/night time.

Whatever scene there is in Carcasonne you may find it difficult unless your French is really good.

Not a good time to come swinging but a very good (and quiet ) time to have a vanilla holiday.

Carcassonne fabber would love to meet up and see where it goes. Cap definatly worth a visit but as already suggested a little late in the season.
