there are good and bad apartments in all areas - you pay your money you take your chance. Area wise - individuals have favourite areas so what they may like you may not. Wherever your staying in the village you won't be too far away from anything.

Any location inside the gate will be close to the various clubs and bars . A five minute walk and you will be in the next area.

Standards of accommodation vary. I would make sure that you see recent pictures of the apartment and ask when they were taken .

The better apartments will have wi fi , a washing machine , separate bedroom in addition to the lounge , gated access , balcony with a good view and air conditioning .

Hi, we have stayed in Heliopolis twice, we were there at the end of june, and love it, but as has been said you do get what you pay for and even the basic ones are not cheap. Also depends on when you are planning to arrive as some agency's only do Saturday to Saturday during peak season. We booked through Ann and David James who will do weekday arrivals and they were great, extremely helpful. Where ever you stay you will have the most amazing time it really is the best place in the world!!

Bloody swingers get everywhere.....

Although it holds 40,0000 people at its peak, you're never more than a few minutes walk from anything. The couples beach is about the furthest you need to walk while you are there.

Take the advice about looking at pics of the apartment and go for it......

Heliopolis probsbly keeps coming up because it is a massive set of buildings and there are lots if flats in it.

But avoid 4,5,6 as they are near bars

Babylon is great and hosts 2 pool parties a week that get packed out. Bit pricey though.

Our experience of AGN was that they were inefficient at replying to inquiry emails and when they did reply the offered alternate units not the ones we enquired about

2 things

Port Nature 3 and 4 are the places to be if you want to see some life. Bit noisy on terrace but passersby are fun.

It is only Jackie retiring at the agency

it belongs to the same people who own the hotel and natureva so I cant really see them shutting. I suppose they might sell

totally agree but make sure pics are not 7 yrs old as what happened to recent guests. Better still some people will let you view their apartments so you can see them for yourself. That way you know what you are getting. Pm for details.
