Nice, we found a webcam showing a view West beyond the breakwater, so not actually a shot of the village but the beach beyond and which looks great.. six weeks today

our fave bar Bodega Bar wasn't open Back in 4 weeks cannot wait!

Resort was very quiet bank holiday weekend we had a good time no play due to bad timing from Mother Nature but pool and sauna at our hotel Natureva-Spa were lovely spent first day on the balcony went for walk around town you def see some sights second day went to the beach found quiet spot in dunes behind campsite. I walked up to swingers end was nasty big group of people and lots of Pervy guys hanging around much nicer places on the beach to go I say stay well clear of it for more privacy all in all an ok visit loved out time exploring Montpellier too.

Over priced? If you mean the cost of apartments and the drinks in the clubs then absolutely.

Over rated? Then if you mean the facilities accommodation Etc. I would agree.

However what you can't put a price on is its uniqueness and anywhere that can put tens of thousands of swingers in the same place over such a short season can only be rated as 5*****

As most swingers wear clothes if it wasn't for the naturists it would be just that..get in the spirit people and get your kit off whenever possible.and men please stop wearing the skirts lol

there are two sides to every story - as an owner here is last year's costs:

Tax Foncier Tax Habitation 1,700€. Maintenance charges for the building 1,400€, utilities 600€, WiFi 500€, damages 450€, wear & tear & maintenance of interior 500€, advertising 2,000€, insurance 400€, accountant fees 450€. So it's not all profit. We have just had a quote for 1 million euro's to strip & paint the building - our share 8,000€ then we have NI 24% + tax + licences. The interior of the building was done 5 year's ago which cost us 2,000. Also you have to buy the place. So it depends on which side of the fence your on as to whether it's overpriced?

In theory nothing can be over priced as prices adjust to supply and demand .

What you are paying for in Cap d Agde is the unique atmosphere and probably the biggest collection of swingers anywhere in the world .

The experiences which you have there you will remember for the rest of your life .

Costa Blanca Spain...

We finally arrived on Saturday after an 8 hour drive up from Spain. Weather sunny and warm but a bit windy. First night out in JW’s, which was quite busy, had a few drinks and chatted to a few people but we were basically knackered after the drive so left at closing time and after a quick look in the Melrose headed back to base. JW’s is now closing at 1am, an hour earlier than previous years, there is a good reason for the change but we wont go into it on here.

Sunday morning did a bit of shopping then went down to the beach early afternoon. Still a bit windy but lots of people down there. Due to the football (Grrrr) we left early so missed most of the action. Drank a bit too much watching the football (Germany Game) so the evening was a bit low key.

Monday. Mrs always needs a day or two to get into the swing of things here (pardon the pun) so with that out of the way it’s now time for action. Shopping in the morning then our first foam party for this trip in the afternoon. It was fairly busy and as usual lots going on, plenty of groping in the foam and lots of sex on the beds. We had a nice session with another couple we met and I’m sure we will see them again before we leave. This was our first time at the new venue (the old one has been demolished) and overall we prefer it, BUT. Be very careful when entering and leaving the bubble pool, there are no steps and it is quite a drop when you get in, we spoke to quite a few people who had hurt themselves. Also be careful when coming out of the foam, there is a small slope and it gets very slippery, we saw a few finish up on their arses.

Monday night (after watching the England Debacle) took us into JW’s again. This time met a single guy early on so we ditched our plan of going to a club later and took him back to base. Needless to say Mrs had a good time.

We spent Tuesday and Wednesday at the beach. Quite busy but not as much action as we would normally expect and what there was seemed to start much later than we remember from previous years. On Wednesday there was almost nothing happening until after 6pm. Maybe it is something to do with the sea temperature, we’ve never known it as cold here. Not good for the male ego at all, let’s hope it warms up a bit next week.

As usual in the evenings we started both nights in JW’s Pretty much the usual crowd and we are starting to see a few familiar faces. On Tuesday we moved on to Jeux de Mains. We managed to get in just before 1am for the free entry. This year it is free entry for all couples before midnight and if you can get hold of one of the tickets they hand out you can stretch it to 1am. Quite a few in but not really much going on. There were a lot of couples just hanging around the entrance to the play area and on the dance floor and occasionally something would start, but we noticed a real lack of single guys. I suppose 60€ (55€ with ticket) is putting quite a few off.

Wednesday night we left JW’s and headed for our first night in Le Tantra for this trip. This year it is 30€ for a couple (from 20€ last year) with a free drink each. We went straight upstairs and although it was a bit early there was plenty going on in the couples area and some interesting things in the mixed area at the top of the stairs. We finished our drink and then started playing and were soon joined by another couple. A very good time was had by all.

We had another drink (10€ a pop) then decided to have a walk around downstairs. Needless to say once we got into the mixed play area a few hands started appearing and one guy in particular was a cut above the rest and seemed to know what he was doing. It wasn’t long before Mrs got him onto a bed and the rest you can imagine. One small downside though. Some of the single guys can be a bit (sometimes a lot) pushy. As the Mrs finished with her new friend another guy tried to launch himself at her, she said no she needed a break but he wouldn’t take no for an answer and I had to be a bit more forceful with him. The problem lasted for no more than 10 seconds but the security staff were there in a flash. We told them what had happened and another guy confirmed it to them. Result was the pushy guy got thrown out and we got a free drink. Top marks to the security staff.

Thursday we got up early and headed out of the village to Agde market with the plan to go to the foam party again in the afternoon but, best laid plans and all that, we cocked up the bus timings and got back too late to have any chance of getting a decent (or any) bed there. So with a quick change of plan we opted for an afternoon at the Kamasutra spa. The price for a couple is 20€ for the pool and 20€ for the sauna with two free drinks with a “special package” for both at 40€ with two free drinks (no me neither) but we gave it a go. The place was a real disappointment. The pool area was pretty much like any hotel pool and to be fair we didn’t expect anything more than that, but while we accept that the late night clubs will charge top prices for drinks we didn’t expect to be paying 10€ a drink in the afternoon and 6€ for a bottle of water. We went downstairs and had a go at the Jacuzzi which was nice and they had got the temperature about right. We didn’t see any point in bothering with the sauna as if for anything we’d gone downstairs to cool off a bit. The play area is quite small and there were a few people sitting around but absolutely nothing happening. We went down for a look 3 or 4 times more during the day and the most we saw was one couple fucking with a single guy sat alongside watching and wanking. We will certainly NOT be going back.

In the evening, after our usual start in JW’s, we went to Jeux de Mains again. This time it was very different. After a quick look around we went into the main play area and although not packed it was quite lively. We bumped into the couple we had met at the foam party a few days ago and the four of us started playing. While we were otherwise engaged the area really filled up and stayed full with action in every corner. It was bodies everywhere and when I looked over at Mrs she was getting on quite heavily with another woman. Mrs isn’t really Bi and girl/girl fun isn’t normally her thing but with the right girl and the right mood and just enough red wine she will occasionally go for it, so with all three boxes ticked she had a wonderful time.

An interesting an well written post.

I have always found the saunas to be unpredicable . Some days are great and others they are hardly worth going to.

As there is no way of predicting either the good or bad days and you are unable to see how many are there before you pay your money all you can do is hope for the best .

I note that you say the resort was not as busy as you expected .

In 2014 I had a fantastic time in the saunas and some nights I will remember for the rest of my life .

In 2015 the customer base seem to fall off or the ratio of men to women increased and there was a lot more competition.

For 2016 I am organising a few soiree evenings so less time will be spent in the saunas where you may have to spend a long time waiting for things to happen.

When you think of the great times in the saunas and having three.ladirw in a day , you tend to forget the time spent waiting for things to happen which can be boring .

Whilst I am attending French lessons my French is not of a sufficient standard to have a conversation so I cannot really talk or understand many conversations .

Enjoy the rest of your holiday and thanks for all your hard work in updating the visitors list .

You would think fab might have an automated visitors list like the one on another site with a name similar to South Derry Trailers but abbreviated to the first three letters .

Costa Blanca Spain...

Friday was a quiet one for us. We spent the day on the beach and just went into JW’s for a few drinks at night. We were both a bit tired and went back to base early.

Saturday started with quite a lot of cloud and I even felt a few spots of rain early on so we were a bit undecided as to what we were going to do. If it stayed cloudy we would try the 2 et 2 sauna but if the sun came out we would give the foam party another go. By midday the sun was out so it was off to the foam party.

As usual we got there about half an hour before opening. The sunbeds are limited and it does get busy so if you arrive at opening time you will be at the back of a very long queue and will have little, if any, chance of getting one. Tip: Beware of the left hand bed closest to the foam area. As the day goes on the foam tends to spill out and it can get to a foot or two deep on the bed itself. Nice for a bit of fun maybe, but you don’t want to be lying in it all day. The price this year is 25€ per couple and 3€ for the cloakroom (up from 20€ and 2€ last year) Drinks average 6€ for a beer or glass of wine (more like a glass of ice with a splash of wine on top) and a cocktail will cost 10€. We usually opt for a bottle of Rose (20€) which is served in a bag of ice so you can add your own as you want.

It wouldn’t be fair to judge the new venue after just one visit but after two we have started to get a clearer picture and more able to compare it to the old venue. Because they are a different shape it’s difficult to compare for size but we think the new one is (just) bigger also the foam area is a bit bigger as well. We think the beds and seating are much better than before, there are more of them (although still not enough) and the layout is much better. We preferred the old pool but the new one is good enough once you get used to the drop.

Where we think it has lost something is the atmosphere in the foam. In previous years there were always a couple of girls dancing on the bar, throwing hats, T shirts Etc into the crowd and along with the DJ stirring up a real party atmosphere. This year nothing. The DJ plays music and….. er well……. plays music. The girls that maybe would have got things going seemed to be preoccupied sweeping away the excess foam that spills into the main area.

On the upside there is still lots of action on the beds and after a lot of the usual groping and playing in the foam we hit it off with a German couple we met.

Saturday night was the usual routine of JW’s then on to Jeaux de Mains. After plenty of wine at the foam party and a few more in the evening Mrs was a bit pissed, but she managed to get it on with a couple of guys before her head finally fell off.

As it is the peak season , you may need to find accommodation outside the gate .

Really good apartments tend to get booked up to a year in advance .

If the agent had done a good job , quote a few people will be booking in the next few months for 2017.

These people will want apartments with air conditioning , a washing machine . wifi and prepared and cleaned to a very high standard .

...and the adjoining door to Histoire d'O is certainly worth mentioning. We were very impressed with the premises and the whole experience in general
