Hertford

I usually book my flights as soon as the schedule is released and fly to Beziers with Ryan Air from Luton . I aim to pay £100'return in the low season , £150 to £200 mid season and £250 in the peak season.. I like to plan in advance and am happy with these prices .

Another member contacted me and asked when was the best time to book. She was travelling in the peak period and wanted to book now , but her partner wanted to wait in case prices fell.

My opinion is that airlines do not discount flights during the peak season or at popular times .

What is your experience / opinion.

You might like to have a look at a site similar to a Canadian Open Canoe dot co dot Uk.

Apologies. Confused in technical terms. Think of the Olympic definition of a boat where the paddler is seated in a cockpit using a two bladed paddle. Hint, it is not a canoe

we have made lots of trips we fly bristol to beziers.

First of all the prices vary day to day.

We have checked the prices regularly and they change all the time and found some interesting things , single flights are cheaper than returns.

Type in single for your dates then try return you will see a difference.

The other is insurance you have to opt out its hidden in the drop down menu in countries, select( do not insure me).

Flights are £49 normally sometimes £59 and have paid as low as £36

The local bus service will get you to the gate of the naturiste site for 2.60 euros with a change at agde station.

My experience is it depends on the airline.

As Ryainair are the only airline flying to Bezier the earlier you book the cheaper the flights, the more seats that are booked on a flight the higher the price.

With other company's like Thompson it can be the opposite and the last few seats might be a bargain, but never seen that with Ryainair .

So book now to get the best price for Bezier they are only getting more expensive by the day.

We booked 14 separate flights with ryanair last year to beziers and tenerife the prices vary right up until the day of the flight we have been disappointed when the price has dropped after booking ours.

Holland !

This could be bulls**t advice as it comes from the internet .....

Set your browser to "private" when checking ticket prices as a booking website can know what you have been searching for and then do a "last two seats available at € 299", or whatever, when actually there are tickets available for less.

We have only ever booked direct with ryanair and sometimes wonder if they use the info from previous searches.

we also booked a room in the hotel in agde for a friday the cheapest on the net was 56 euros when we got there the price as 52 euros.

we will always book direct as others must take a cut.
