Campervan in France (and Germany) in July

I’m going to France and Germany in my campervan in July. (Not a big motorhome!) Any tips on where to go / book in advance? I like the outdoors — hill walks and such. Would love to find fellow swingers are campsites / park-ups.

Figure I need to get to Cap d’agde. Tips on good campervan locations there?

I now see there is just one campsite at Dagde, so will book that now. Any other tips on the way to/from would be great, especially with swimming (ocean, lake or river)!

Essex

There are a couple in the southern part of France black diamond le rosier which we have been too but wouldn't recommend.

Google maps straight to cap is my recommendation.
