Been over a hundred times to Le Mask with my partner, so can tell you exactly what it’s like, even the names of most of the very nice staff 😁.

Lots of clubs in Paris, but 3 good ones in the centre, Les Chandelles, Taken and Le Mask.

Le Mask is the smallest, but it’s the only one that’s couples only 7 days a week. All 3 are good on Friday or Saturday, Le Mask is miles better than the other 2 Sunday to Thursday.

For example, Taken lets single men in early in the week. There’ll be 2 couple in being chased by hordes of men. On the same night, Le Mask will have 25-30 couples in over the course of the night. They’re long opening hours, through to 5am, can have people coming in even at 2am still some nights.

Usually a mixture of tourists and locals, wide age range, but probably averaging early 40’s.

Tourists and some locals use a site called S D C and post travel plans. We’ve met up with a few couples from it, usually American, and even hosted female half of a couple of American couples when visiting Paris alone.

Paris has loads going on if you look for it, 7 days a week, day or night.

Curious to know how you got on?

We are looking at booking a long weekend during the summer in Paris and it would be nice to get to a club one or two of the nights.

Can you get by with just English?

You can definitely get by with just English. There might be one or two couples where neither speak English, but not many.

And 50% are tourists, where they mainly use English to communicate.

Don’t always need to speak to play either. Rules are different in France, if you’re playing together another person or couple may touch you without even asking, if you don’t say no, that then becomes consent for them to do more. You need a confident “non merci”, and they’ll move on straight away. You neee to assess them very quickly…just in case you do want them to continue.

As for the place itself, Manager speaks great English, the rest of the staff get by.

Arrive after 11, open until 5 or 6am. Most people will arrive between 11 and 1am, with a few stragglers until about 2.

Men, trousers, shoes, collared shirt. Ladies dress or skirt, no trousers or even jump suit. Must wear heels, shoes or heeled boots. Sexy lingerie underneath as later on plenty will wander round in just the tiniest clothes.

No lockers, just a cloakroom on arrival where you can ask them to put things in your bag as you remove them.

There is no dress down for men, no wandering round in boxers like UK clubs, unless you’re in a play area. Always have to be clothed in bar areas and smoke room etc. That’s the same for all clubs in Paris. Dress down ok for ladies, but not really for men.

Just arrived in Paris.. Monday night probably a bit quiet I guess.. single so if anyone is around , can go for drinks etc..

This club any good on a Monday? Or any other clubs which are? Don’t want a cock fest lol
