We posted a few years ago about the clubs in our part of the Loire valley but its time for an update as lots has changed. You’ll need a car as none of the clubs are easily accessible. We’ve ordered them broadly from East to West ie following the Loire downstream.
La messaline at Oinville-Saint-Liphard. Starting north of Orleans, the first club is La Messaline. You arrive in the village square, its very quiet and difficult to imagine there’s a club there. The club is in what looks like a house but it’s like a Tardis, much bigger inside. You can eat there but the normal club entry is after 22h30, cost 60€ with two drinks, it’s the most expensive of our clubs as it’s the closest to Paris. Couples only on Saturday night, single men allowed on Fridays.
Le Chene club at Noyers-sur-Cher. 40km south of Blois, couples’ entry is 40€, single men are allowed. The club has a dance floor, indoor pool and jacuzzi. Upstairs is the BDSM area. The club organises regular BDSM nights which is why we sometimes go, but quite often there’s not many people there.
L’Erolys at Cangey. Following the Loire downstream, 25km west of Blois on the D952 is our favourite club L’Erolys – it used to be Le Karma but changed hands and reopened on the 5th of July 2025. The club is ‘Mixte’ ie open to all but like all clubs you need to be well dressed. Cost is 50€. The price includes soft drinks, a locker and towels. There’s a dance floor, sauna huge jacuzzi and of course ‘Coins calins’ – the little backrooms. If you have a camper van there’s room to park it. The building itself is amazing.
Le Charn’elle at Amboise. The new club opened by the previous owner of le Karma just outside the historic town of Amboise. The building is a converted industrial unit, 50€ for couples with soft drinks, towels and locker on Saturday night but it’s also open at other time for a lower price. The club opened in April 2025 and we’re not sure how well it’ll do now that it’s in competition with L’Erolys only 9km away.
Le Paradis at Montlouis-sur-Loire. Still further down the Loire almost to Tours is what used to be the best club in the region but there are better clubs in the area now and so it’s less busy. The price is similar to other clubs, 50€ per couple, it has a nice labyrinth of backrooms. Single men will have to look at their website as sometimes its Couples only.
Le Boudoir at Chambray-lès-Tours. Sauna club that was until recently Le Hamac. The opening hours are a bit strange, from 14h00 to 19h00 Monday to Wednesday butcloses at midnight on Thursdays. Its not open on a Friday night but opens once a month on a Saturday for a gangbang. We’ve only been once as they rented the club out for a BDSM night.
L’Ambassade at La Riche. West of Tours is L’Ambassade, a club that has a younger and more beautiful crowd. One of our friends, a large lady was allowed in but it was uncomfortable there. The good thing is that you don’t have to take nice clothes with you as they have a clothes rental service. Entry is 50€ for couples, it’s open from Wednesday to Saturday and in common with most clubs is open on Sunday afternoons. The club has couples only nights.
Moulins club at Sainte-Maure-de-Touraine. This might be an interesting club if you’re travelling on the A10 autoroute as its near junction 25. It’s only open on Saturday nights, cost is 40€. We haven’t been for a few years; it’s in a converted truckers hotel.
