For couples in Paris what's your experiences of Parisian clubs. Le Chateau Des Lys is closed down and was apparently the wildest place. Not too keen on Les Chandelles as it seems a but to posery and aloof for our tastes. It's looking like Moon City based on the info on the forums. But it's been 6 months or so since there was much discussion about Paris is clubs so thoughts seek a current update. Thanks

I’m in Paris now and been loads of times. Taken and Le Mask best for cocktail bar type clubs. Le Mask weekdays for sure is best, couples 7 days a week. Best to arrive about 11pm, closes 4am weekdays, 5am weekends.

Might be slightly biased, been about 70 times to Le Mask and friends with manager now 😂 Going again tonight, not been since last week 😂😂

Both good at weekends.

Moon City is full spa, towel only all day or night. Rough round the edges to say the least, but can still be fun, especially in the giant jacuzzi. Couple only Monday and Wednesday, bit of a cock fest other days. L’Eclipse is sister venue, couple only 7 days a week, but smaller and equally grubby. Personally I’ve tried it 4 times with partner and given up on it now, usually disappointed.

And you’re right about Chandelles only went once. Too strict on dress code in my view. Posers in and out of the toilets snorting .

And 30 Euros a beer or wine is taking the piss.

Too serious, not as much fun.

Thanks Alex that's really helpful mate. I've been doing some research on line le Mask does seem to get a good review from everyone who has got in. Might be the choice!

Hey, we can honestly say stay clear of the saunas in Paris. They are shocking and ridiculously expensive! We left after 10 minutes and €120 worse off. Les taken is really good. Very smart place with beautiful people. You should have an amazing time there. X

Thank you. Yeah Taken and Mask seem to be 2 of the most popular ones among the under 50 crowd. We might manage both. After more research the saunas seem to be as you say overpriced and more popular with an older crowd. What day if the week did you guys go to Taken? We're there Thursday to Sunday.

Would never recommend sauna at night time, and never over a proper club. And never L’Eclipse, the small one, it’s rubbish.

But, despite previous posters bad time there, we’ve had great day time fun in Moon City with good looking couples in their 30’s, and more than once. Only on Monday/Wednesday on couples only days.

Big jacuzzi can be fabulous fun, up to ten couples and still plenty of room around you so you can choose to chat or not.

It was only ever a warm up for us, proper club later at night 😁

I also nearly walked in first five minutes because it’s a bit grubby, but my partner, convinced me to stay. Glad we did. Wouldn’t choose it over a club, but it does provide something they don’t.

And if money is an issue, don’t bother with Paris at all, it’s an expensive clubbing experience! Worth it in my opinion, there last week, and heading back tomorrow 😁

Having just read your Thursday to Sunday post, sauna definitely not even a daytime recommendation.

Too many men.

Of the ckubs, Le Mask will be better Thursday, both good at weekend 👍

What about clubs that cater for a more mature (over 40s) clientele? Any suggestions?

All the above are still good 👍 30’s, maybe even a few in 20’s, right up to 60’s, every night, Chandelles probably oldest average age, but still very mixed, and would still be ok in the others too.
