Most people book through Airbnb and booking.

A lot of them stay at Rene Oltra (you can book directly on their website)

I been looking for a few years and desperate to go but I know if I book that early something will come up and spoil my plans.

Drive down and take a tent.. apart from a few weeks in August you can nearly always book a pitch last minute on the Oltra campsite.

Yes, peak season is the first two weeks of August. It’s almost impossible to find something decent at a reasonable price now

We are looking at accommodation, fairly flexible when we go just want a long weekend, the Oz looks expensive could anyone tell us what is the next best accommodationafter the Oz please ? and if anyone has any tips on cheap flights thank you xx

In August nothing is cheap- including flights.

Avoid Friday the 15th, because it's a public holiday. Everything will be super expensive.

The closest airport is Beziers, you should use google flights. It will suggest some nearby airports too (montpellier, nimes)
